Hahahahaha good joke. How can it not have this problem when so many people have reported it and Apple acknowledges it? :S I'm not apple bashing, I would love some apple products (but they're pricey) but there is an issue here...

Let's get a few points out here.
1. You do not have to hold the iPhone 4 "tight" to trigger the problem.
2. Apple have said they aren't perfect and they actually admit there is an issue.
3. That video of the Nexus One shows the phone switching from 3G to Edge right? The iPhone 4 doesn't even do that. It stops you from doing calls and connecting to the webpages. Even with EDGE you can still use the phone as a phone.
4. HTC Fanboys? Read up on Android. HTC is not the only company who make phones running the Android operating system.
I am not talking about the nexus phone. My SE has no problems with signal, even when I grip it so hard it almost crushes. I just tried again, got bored waiting for anything to happen. From what I gather it's because the wifi antenna and the normal cellular antenna are close together and it bridges a gap - surely apple could have seen people would hold it in this way and move it elsewhere? They spent $100mil on this... again, not apple bashing but if there was no problem there wouldn't be all this stuff in the news and they wouldn't be giving out free accessories.
Right I'm death gripping my HTc Desire in every possible way but not losing 1 bar of signal at all... Heck I even got an email while I was death gripping my phone...
Took them long enough, even though they're still a bit scattish with admiting their wrong and that the iPhone 4 will go down in history as a joke :P
I like how apparently HTC and Android are the same thing. What the hell is my Sony Ericsson then :S

I shall post the same link as I did the last time I saw you saying this. http://vimeo.com/12864890
Not strangling the phone at all. As far as I'm aware, all you need to do is bridge the gap and the signal drops.
I'm sorry, but I don't want to buy a phone that HAS to have a case to work properly.
You have to squeeze tight on my phone for it to lose signal :S
