For whatever reason you're under the impression that hormone levels are the driving force causing males to behave like "males" and females to behave like "females". Transgendered people aren't transgendered because of a hormone deficiency. Just like homosexual individuals are not the way they are because of a hormone deficiency. These are facts and have been found through means of scientific reasearch so I don't see why you still feel the need to press on here. Moreover, many transgendered individuals know they were of the wrong sex from the time they are a child just like many homosexual individuals know they are not heterosexual from a young age. Children as I'm sure you're aware do not have an abundance of sex specific hormones. Therefore these feelings are formulated on nothing else other than how the individual perceives and feels themselves. Thus, hormones play a very small role in how we behave and desire the opposite sex, and we mostly base all of this on our on psychological desires.

I do not understand about the arguments going on here.
People have their own opinions about the gender thing. What differentiates them is the way they think.
Anyway, I don't think I need to say what gender I am as it's clearly stated undecided female.

What's reproduction got to do with it? Not caring about gender roles doesn't mean I don't believe in anatomical differences, that would be ridiculous as those do exist quite clearly. I quite agree, on the whole that is the case, as we are obviously still animals, albeit advanced ones. Most women will prefer rugged guys because they represent protection, but obviously as a person's needs change so do their wants. Women who are wealthy, healthy, and artistic (all components of high society) are more likely to want a partner who represents a high aesthetic as opposed to basic physical strength. This is however not strictly on topic as we're now talking about pretty boys vs butch guys whereas I was really more concerned with personality

So you believe it's actually immoral for a male to enjoy poetry or a female to enjoy football? Because that's what I was talking about, not some social revolution whereby we abandon family life and live in separate pods in which we crossdress and cut off our genitals. You're getting so far from what the actual topic is that you're making less and less sense as your post goes on.

Wrong. Homosexuality and transgendered people are vastly more accepted and becoming more accepted as time progresses. Therefore it brings me great pleasure to think about how accepting our society will be of homosexuals in even 20 years now and how much you wont like it :)

Please stop using the time/year as some kind of excuse. You can't say "times have changed" or "this is the 21st century" and expect that to make everything alright. Time does not turn wrong things into right things. I shouldn't have to worry about the number of gays increasing here where I live for a long, long time. ;)

Also at Shaz, that moderator (and a bad one at that) somehow thought my post in spam was intended to be racist when that was obviously not the case. I haven't even seen you before, you could be black/white/brown/yellow or anything, and tbh I don't care. So by putting "Please do not be racist" or w/e into his gay little tag has lead you to feel like the victim of racial abuse as you did not get to see my actual post to realise it was not racist, so you can thank the mod for that.

I'm straight, and like most straight gentlemen these days am not phased by seeing men kissing.

I thought you were arguing that we need to be straight and men need to act like Archie Bunker otherwise we cannot populate the world. This is a scientific progressive view from you as is evolution but now you're saying no span of time can alter "wrong" things (well-- wrong in your mind alone) into "good" things. That's completely hypocritical. Also your statement about time not turning wrong things to good is completely wrong because obviously we evolve as a species and in intelligence over time so naturally we're able to extend our horizons and accomplish much more and open and accept a lot more as well.

Are you serious? Imagine going to any large social gathering of mainly men, a pub being a good example of that. When there are loads of people there watching the football, if through the adverts you were to put a video up there of 2 men passionately kissing; are you seriously telling me that you don't think there would be a reaction by the whole? Maybe in your little world most men would just sit there watching it and not blink an eyelid but I know in the real world half the pub would be joking with there mates, making inappropriate comments etc.
