lolol yeah my bad, i was a bit distracted by someone getting really worked up over different taps :P

We used to have separate taps but now they are joined together.

Yep. Old houses usually always have them. In newer homes the standard is one tap, but you can get a two-tap sink if you ask for one, for 'old times' sake :P

That would be pretty daft :P There's never been two shower heads. There were two taps because you used to fill up the sink and wash your hands in that, so the cold and hot water used to mix together in the sink rather than in the tap.

4real how daft can you be to consider the possibility of 2-head showers having ever existed in homes that would just be a recipe for hypothermia

We Americans Call Them Faucets :s
