Well my dad knows f*** all about games and always forks out alot more than he should :D.

Getting my for my b-day 19 of sep though it will come before (may try and get it out and play it or perswade him to let me have it early)

¬_¬ to get wireless internet you dont need to get firmware, that is just a program to edit your background etc.. you just update your psp version to 2.00 and then you will need a wireless modem near by

YOu do need the 2.0 firmware for the wireless internet browser, otherwise you can't browse the internet without the Wipeout trick. Of course you will still have WAN enabled on it.

I got, PSP,32MB Memory Stick, Logitech armoured case, Pouch,3 top games, Charger and screen cleaner for £219 from Comet

no... you get the internet browser in the update of it, firmware is to customize your psp if you havent updated to 2.00

put your goddamn demo disc which you get with it in, then go under the games section on the menu scroll down to update to 2.00
