Urm, they are not rubbish, they are extremely good for what you pay for. You can put an SSD card in to upgrade the storage, upgrade the ram, use a USB drive to install XP and you have a very nice, very cheap laptop?

You can easily unlock the full Linux desktop so you can do everything you could do on a normal Linux laptop.

And in my experiance the gadget show talks a load of bull.

the eee pc is well cool, however i cant see a reason to buy one for myself, but im sure its handy for a lot of other people. maybe when im in college and i need to get stuff done quick :D
