U dont believe people can possibly get depressed once in a while, u dont believe people can actually be so depressed that they're driven to feeling that cutting is the only way out, and u dont believe that someones dog has died? You're confused. Not all emos are depressed, in fact most aren't, even the ones who say they are. Most people seem to think that if you're upset about something you're depressed, well let me tell y'all something: Depression is an illness, not a mood. Your girlfriend may well have her own problems, but having problems doesn't mean you have to dress/act in a certain way and listen to certain music.
