I was at college, and there wasn't one. But, i guess it depends when the minute silence was, because some people have free periods/breaks & lunch.

We attempted one at the nursery, the kids didn't really understand though... and i don't know bout you guys but when i think of 9/11 i not only think of all the innocent americans killed that day, all the familys torn apart but i also think of the aftermath and the thousands of iraquis who were un nessicerilly killed, who were just as innocent. <33
RE teachers are so opinionated it's stupid. We didn't have silence either, I was quite surprised.
