Never. I just don't think it's necessary.
If the did something really wrong and were old enough to understand what it was and that its bad I would. But not beat them.
My parents belived in smacking, It was a wooden spoon or the jug cord for me. Same for my siblings, most of the time it was for nothing. I think sometimes their judgement was wrong, but it helped pull me into line.
Depends what they do. I don't like kids anyway. They're annoying.
