People really shouldn't be treated differently just before their gay..

Think about, would you really want your son comming up to you and saying he's homosexual? To be honest i wouldn't, i tolerate it and everything but it's a big shock for your mother and if she's Christian, the churches tend to not socially accept homosexuals because they believe that the whole idea of sexual intercorse is to give birth.
I reckon she will come around soon enough but give her time.
