It could still happen espically since we live in a stupid country, but okay back down to that!
No there not scared of jail but killing them is just sending the wrong message, everyone deserves a second chance. They should be sent to the Army or Military not killed you idiot.
If we killed them there mother would grieve, there family would grieve and I'm pretty sure that's wrong. Yes they killed someone but they don't desereve to be killed themselves, they should have to do labour, work hard and LIVE with the guilt and the fact they did kill someone. As much as you don't see it they do feel guilt every single day of there lives, I'm sure. An we're teaching them not to kill people to throw a death penetly on there ****'s is just throwing the whole point of it away..
So why let them have the easy way out and kill them? I'd much rather they were sent somewhere else then Prison. Being killed is just a pathetic way out - giving them the chance to be free.
An as for getting the wrong person, how do you know? What if you was the unlucky person who got caught when you was there but didn't stab the lad. I'm sure you wouldn't wanna flippin die would you?
THINK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and by the way, do we have to copy the USA.. I dont see them with lesser crime levels and they still have death penelty don't they?

THINK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh shut up.
just because the stabbings are seen more on TV it does not whatsoever mean that people will go out and kill others just because one out of however many hundred criminals got away with it.
knife crime aint even that big an issue in the uk?
According to radio 1:
The amount of deaths and injuries through knife crime has actually stayed about the same in england and wales for the past ten years, the only place it's gone up is in Scotland - but even in Scotland it's not gone up by much.
And, also according to newsbeat, on average, 250 people a year die from knife crime. On average, 3000 a year die from road accidents. So how come people aren't going mental about road accidents?
The only reason it seems like there's such a problem with knives right now is because the press are choosing to report on pretty much every incident of knife crime. It hasn't become more frequent, they just didn't bother to write about it as much before.
Do you not watch the new's?
It has gone up, knives have walked into teenager's lives and stayed there. I live in a part where its pretty rough and trust me its a very big issue.
You don't live in a dangered place do you? Apparently there's only been 1 knife crime in 20 year's where you live? Well you dont feel it then. Its horriable thing and I'm glad there trying there best to stop it before it does get out of control.
it doesn't matter if the crime rate hasn't increased, it's the fact that it's finally getting some action and notice that matters. the problem needs to be addressed and i'm glad it finally is.
road accidents - yeah, not all of those are deliberate like stabbings. you don't just "accidently" stab someone..
Yeah I watch the news, and have they actually given any statistics or anything to show it's going up? I doubt Radio 1's newsbeat is just going to make up some figures.
Nope I don't live in a dangerous place but that doesn't mean my opinion on it doesn't count. We have plenty of violence, just not above the norm. The fact that you do makes your opinion mean less actually, because being in a rough area, it's obviously going to seem more of an issue to you.
I never claimed that stabbings were an accident :S and does it matter if it's an accident, if someone dies? It's still more of a problem.
And i'm not saying knife crime isn't an issue, i'm just saying i don't think it's as big an issue as the press is making out.
sorry but it's pretty much an issue everywhere at the moment.
don't be so rude. you make it sound as if you're taking a superior position just because the area you live in has low knife crime.
knife crime has all areas reacting.
My opinion dosn't mean less dear, thats why there trying to come to our school's, talk to us and convince us not to carry knives. We are the people there trying to tackle or maybe you think there tackling your area where there's hardly no knife crime.
An yes living in a rough area dosn't mean nothing there probably trying to get to our area's before they warn yours.
Its an issue in every area, so don't try and make it sound like because I live in a rough area where knife crime's high I dont matter.
