There is no real need to trust any member, especially not for the fact that they are VIP. However, I respect members through their posts.

I don't think the VIP makes a diffrence wether or not thay can be trusted. I don't think it is good to say you trust anyone on the internet but then even some friends in your real life you can say can't be trusted so...

I usually check post count and rep count. VIP does help because I know they've got knowledge of the forum and stuff. I tend to trust people who know what they're doing. ;)
