I completely understand about the little choice of work they have, but if his job is so important for him, then why did he take a huge risk by being racist on the phone? Supposing I did call the police, made statement etc (I wont, waste of my time) he would be fired and his family be even more poor than they probably are.Quote:

If he was that concerned about the job he wouldn't be swearing and being racist to be honest, he would deserve to get fired. I know where I work swearing at someone on the phone would result in you being shown the door.
swering is not illegal, racism is, therfore, get him fired.
Sometimes I am nice and say I am busy and not interested. If the same person rings back, I just leave the phone and watch them go "Hello Hello Helloooo???"Quote:
