It's not a remake of the Korean film, it's an adaptation of the manga series.

The Korean film is only loosely based on the manga, so Spielberg's adaptation will be vastly different. For example, the Korean films story greatly revolves around incest, but there is no incest in the manga. That's how different it is. Spielberg's Oldboy will have nothing to do with Park Chan-wook's Oldboy. The first twenty minutes might be a tiny bit similar, but that will be it. It's not a remake, it's just using the same source material. It's like saying Peter Jacksons's Lord of the Rings trilogy is a remake of the 1978 animated Lord of the Rings movie. It's clearly not, they're just both movies adapted from the same books.
We where talking about this in science ages ago, are science teacher is a big geek, and he said they basicly got the common cold flu, and they wernt imune plus the red stuffs like sick?

Listen to the soundtrack by Jeff Wayne.
THAT is amazing :)
It isn't a sequel and it's completely unrelated to Spielberg's War of the Worlds. It's a mockbuster by The Asylum; nothing more, nothing less.
