Had been 15 for exactly a week, was with a girl I loved and the event itself was really quite unspectacular as I'm sure it often is but it advanced the relationship and was in no way a mistake. Also she was hot so that helps in terms of not regretting things

Not true. Girls are hornier than guys, but have to shield themselves from being labelled a ****.

why don't we all stop hugely stereotyping genders and just accept that it differs from individual to individual

Because you've got the "prime" of your teenage years ahead of you. Over the next few years everyone will begin to change and grow up, and lots of people will start having parties with lots of drinking and all sorts of tomfoolery, and you'll start experimenting with things like how many shots of Tequila you can do before spewing and how many games of "Ring of Fire" you can play without going through a whole crate of beer. And at somepoint in this process, you will lose it. Hardly anyone really does wait until they "love someone" before they decide to baw somebody.
