Yeah the only reason I use my CD drive regularly is the Edexcel Maths CDs that come with the textbooks :P. But also, don't you need a CD drive to install Windows on Boot Camp? Personally though, I'll be getting the normal MBP which has a CD drive anyway.

You can make the windows installer bootable on a USB stick to be fair - Not sure if that works with boot camp as I've never owned a Mac and done that.

Windows 8 RT is not a full operating system, I want the full Windows experience on a tablet so I'm likely going to get a not RT tablet when they become better priced.

Other comments are about how Apple is playing catch-up... again.

Judging by the lack of comments on here, the event really must of been a let down, but that's common with these big reveal events now.
