Or in other words to maintain the quality of posting.

This was different to read :P I'd say about half of those threads are pointless, but hey, what can we do? At least he created just as many non pointless threads that did generate discussion. What annoys me more is this new 'If you don't like it, don't read it' attitude that management have suddently adopted.

This is the easiest solution. It's bizarre that everyone forgets it lol.

I do not think it is the job of the moderation department to determine what threads are good or bad. It's always made no sense to me how people forget that ultimately, threads die. Threads have a limited life span so to complain about them is a waste of time. Keep posting good threads and they'll be gathering dust on page 2 before you know it.

It's been there for years, the matter is if you don't like the threads then there is ways for you to avoid them if it going to help you sleep at night.
