But I agree with her to an extent. I would initially judge someone on their name if I knew nothing else about them, but I wouldn't stay prejudice and not get to know them. Obviously that would be absurd.

Example; posh names such as Edwin, Maximilian or Sebastian will always make me think of a nerd, and it's been true in my life thus far.

Lol I thought Maximillan was posh too, as that's my boyfriends full first name although I didn't know for ages woops. He sounds posh, but I'm used to him.

I don't think I've ever judged someone based on names alone though, I just couldn't do it :P. It's like someone new at work is called Charles, but likes and prefers being called Charlie, I wouldn't have judged him even if he addressed himself Charles to me lmao.

She needs shot. It's all well and good making a decision whether you like someone after you've interacted with them however judging by a name is ridiculous. Also dictating who your kids are friends with is mortifying as you're restricting them of making their own decisions as well as grasping a basic life skill.
