Blackburn confirm Spurs are in talks with them over Bentley...
At least they'll get a replacement for Keane /\
I can't believe Tottenham to be fair, Ramos is the catalyst for all these transfers.
Gomes
Hutton King Woodgate Gilberto
Bentley Modric Dos Santos
Milito Berbatov Arshavin
Anyway, 24 hours and we've got Mills apparently :D
and the rest of the money earnt via transfers looks likely to be spent on Arshavin or Pavlyuchenko.
Sunderland have completed the signing of Steed Malbraunque for an undisclosed fee.
Can't wait to see dos Santos in action.
He's a legend on FM08 & kinda so with Fifa08.
It's so funny if you play FM and buy your wonderkid teens and then see Professional Managers following it slightly, sometimes. Heh. :P
Arsenal sign Werder Bremen midfielder Amaury Bischoff
Tottenham will wrap up the signing of David Bentley and turn their attention to Andrei Arshavin.
Manchester City sign Tal Ben Haim from Chelsea

Oh I am loving the business Ramos is doing this summer :DQuote:
We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Blackburn Rovers for the transfer of David Bentley.
The England international made 133 appearances for the Ewood Park side - scoring 21 goals - after initially joining on loan from Arsenal in August 2005, the move being made permanent in January 2006.
The 23-year-old has now won six senior England caps after previously representing his country at B, Under-21 and Under-20 level.
TOP 4 NEXT SEASON OHHHHHHHHH WHEN THE SPURS GO MARCHING IN :d
Just because Spurs have signed these players doesn't mean they're suddenly going to get into the Champions League. These players have to gel and Spurs have sold their main goalscorer. Buying a 28 year-old for £20 million, high wages and hasn't proven himself in the Premier League may not look as good as it sounds. Modric and Santos look like lightweights so by playing them, they'd probably just get overpowered by the oppositions tough tacklers.
Ramos has bought together a good squad this year and it looks like they'll be up for it.
But i dont know, they failed last season but meh.
Spurs aren't going to do great this season, going forward there is practically a new squad of players who only have a few pre-season games remaining until the season begins. Though, I would expect them to achieve 4-6th place in the 09/10 season. It looks like Ramos is signing who he wants, which wasn't the case under Jol. He had Damien Comolli on his back all the time and wasting money on players that were not needed.
Oh, and spurs are in talks with Pavlyuchenko. At least if we do get both Russians we know they would have played together and understand eachother (pretty well) on various occasions.
We've just lost our best midfielder Matty Spring to Sheffield United.
Signed Mills and the Hoff and JOC has signed a contract extension.
Spurs are chasing Arshavin /\ and Pavlyuchenko as said but i dont think they'll buy them.
Not a player but Harry Redkanpp rumoured to be going to CKSA Moscow.
In terms of southend - Nothing. We poor due to the new stadium lol.
Bywater of derby will jion spurs as 2nd choice GK to Gomes. (Sky sports on my mobile)
and Misfud is not jioning Bristol City. GJ thinks hes not comminited enough.
Bristol City have pulled out the race to sign Cov Mifsud and Ah-Ahly's Meteb.
Now looking at Crewe's Maynard as a replacement striker for released Showumni who went to Leeds Utd.
Bristol Rovers has signed Duffy from Swansea for an undisclosed fee to replace the recently sold Richard Walker.
Brisol City have already signed Maynard yesterday for £2.25 mil and Meteb deal is off apparently froma few days ago
SWP and Santa Cruz will be a City player by the start of the prem.
we've re-signed luton legend super kevin nicholls on a 3 year deal:D:D
We have got Lewis Emanuel on a trial from luton . He played well yesterday and i think we should sign him .
We let a guy called Clapham go because of his high wage demands.
We are still hunting for a New Lb and hopefully this guy will be wearing are shirt next season.
Also we have 4 crooked players now before the season starts . Are small squad isnt going to cope if we lose another one.
arshavin has signed for spurs

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...5875-20682975/

Okay, thanks for that.
I fort Arsenal was going to bag him but guess not.
Gillingham sign Curtis Weston on loan from leeds for 1 month which could see a Permament move to us
Also alot of speculation on the "Mystery Striker" with the speculation of Tresor Kandol leaving Elland Road he is being linked to Gillingham
Now as a gillingham supporter i would absolutely LOVE these two on a permament deal
kandol biggest luton flop in history
was braught on as a sub and replaced 20 mins later because he was that bad. has done alrite at leeds though
middlesbrough agree a deal for luke young
source of skysports
The England right-back only moved to the North East last summer when Boro paid Charlton 2.5million for his signature.
Now Villa are believed to have offered around 5million for the 29-year-old and the Teesside club have accepted the deal.
Young is now heading for Birmingham for talks and looks set to seal his move to the Midlands before the weekend.
Villa are also believed to be leading Portsmouth and Sunderland in the race for Reading's Nicky Shorey and could very well bring in two full-backs in the next few days.
i dont think we shudda sold him personally i think he was one of out best players last season =[
I love it how Gillingham think McCammon will shine olololololol.
Anyway, Arshavin deal is stalemate.
Even though its good business for the club I personally think it's a bad decision. Luke Young was one of our most consistant performers last season and he added great experience to the team. Now that he has left Boro, the team lacks experience which could backfire on Southgates plans to keep the team youthful.
