And you can't expect people to be perfect all the time. People make mistakes, albeit there has been a lot more than usual, but you really have to consider that there are a lot of new people coming to HxL. It just takes a little while for people to improve.

Yes I'll admit there's problems, and we're trying to solve them. But attacking certain DJs gets us nowhere.

Age isn't a problem for me, if they're good enough to dj, then let them dj in my opinion.
All the djs at habbox are obviously here for a reason, and that is that they're good at what they do. Some djs just need the odd thing tweaking here are there, and then well be back to where we were in the past.

dynamixs voice was clear over the backing, and all of the songs he chose to use had no lyrics, so they were fine
what I found particularly annoying was the talking through the start and end, and sometimes middle, of the real songs that were put on to listen to. As I said though I'm sure dynamix will take this all on board and his next show will be better than ever :)

Im sure Age is not a problem, Listeners need to get more involved. :P

I was here in the past, i DJed here a year ago. Dont single me out and then say that because nothing has changed about me and if things were good in the past then i haven't changed so why are things so bad singling me out?

Well, that was a giggle but ya'know...

I don;t mind DJs talking through songs as long as it's not over 10 secs or summet and is important.

The age varies quite a bit, I'm 18 and I DJ for HxL, Jess is 19 now if I remember, so it doesn't fully include younger folks. I'm sure if you count around you'll find a few more older faces. I do agree talking over a song is a big no no and your computer won't explode if you hold it off until after. I think DJs at HabboxLive are at a much younger age than in the past, but hey they have to start somewhere. I remember PigPerson was like 11 or 12 when he joined and he became one of our best. It proves there are a few great voices at a younger age. I'm on the fence on what CH do and simply impose an age limit of not younger than 13. But that would mean the one or two who may be good, like the case study above be prevented from DJing.

I don't mind DJs doing stuff like this, but only if they are willing to learn and adjust to what people want.

The fact some DJs are just basically saying 'na I dont care hat you think' is a bit of a piss take considering this is feedback lol

lol thing is bud u cant post anything about hxl without the department flipping out, they are correct as far as their concerned & they don't like criticism they think your just attacking them or something lolol


OT: Presenters speaking over songs, the age range of the presenters has dropped, Singing on air & even when pre-recorded it loses listeners & the merge has effected hxl badly too.

Exactly. Personally attacking DJs will not help improve HabboxLive - when members are rude about DJs and their ability then it is only going to have a negative impact on HxL, rather than improving the quality of DJs which is the apparent aim.

DJs are not allowed to talk over songs unless it is important and is well placed so as to not interrupt the flow of music. If you find that a DJ is repeatedly talking over songs in a manner that is detrimental to the quality of HabboxLive's shows then you should either post in the Complaints about Habbox Staff forum or (preferably) PM the HabboxLive Management - ,Jess, and Gems,x. They will then PM the DJ in question providing constructive feedback from which they will hopefully improve. They are not going to improve if you guys are insulting everything they do!

I know Jess and Gemma are going to introduce a new system of Feedback involving the Senior DJs. By extending Feedback to Senior DJs who can report back to them both, they are maximising exposure of those in a position to listen to and provide feedback to the DJs. It is all very well and good for you guys to come here and say "all the DJs are crap!" but it is very difficult to make any kind of improvement if you are not then providing constructive feedback to those in the relevant position so we can work to improve HxL overall!

For those who are saying Habbox.com itself may be a problem I would agree and disagree. I quite agree that Habbox.com itself is in need of change and as we have said this is up and coming in the near future. We aim to modernise Habbox and make it unique and individual so as to attract more users and, with any luck, this will help improve HabboxLive listener rates also. Nevertheless I do not think we should ignore the issues HabboxLive might be having and put all the blame on a decline in visitors to Habbox.com, as this is simply not the case. We have looked into it and visitors to Habbox remain quite high and indeed, after the merge, there were indications that it has increased considerably. I think it would be naive and ignorant to say it's all down to a lack of visitors.

Similarly for those of you who have said (or may be thinking) that Habbox's rare values are no longer of any use, you are quite wrong. This is why. Rare Values remain one of the most important and most used features Habbox.com offers.

Once every hour would get very repetitive but if that's what the contract says then w/e but I'm sure they will definitely slip it in lolololol

Most Habbox djs do really good like clips so they can get a trial but if they pass it, after that they just cba with it

I think one of the biggest issues is that things aren't really consistent, some of the DJs just seem to use their slot as their own personal time instead of as one big HxL joint effort.

One DJ will play, talk about search so-and-so for the party, people all hang out there. Next DJ comes on, they say to search someone else to hang out, mention their one friend running a competition, etc.

I think if there was just one big HxL hangout room that the DJs all hung out in and directed traffic to, it would be ideal.

That's just my opinion on the matter.

3. djs that just play music

One part of interacting with the listeners is using their room I guess, if they stay in one spot people will either end up getting bored of it or say 'i'm leaving Habbox because you're not using my room!'. But I suppose a HabboxLive Hub sort of thing would be good, where DJs hang out and a party space etc and have meet the DJs and other events there.

if i tuned in to habbox I would certainly not go to some noobs room to dance

The problem is the vibe it sometimes gives off. It doesn't feel like "Hey come join the HxL party", it usually just 'feels' like "Hey come populate my room while I DJ!".

When the party is in like Danube's trade room and he's running a comp, it's all good, but when a DJ says to search their friend for the party and they have a gigantic room with like 20 pieces of random furni, it just looks bad.

lol Habbo parties are a joke and sad, used to be alright when there was banter- but now rooms are often speechless. But you need to be present on Habbo to get listeners in.

They spam the room with sad and childish crap and try and act clever, exactly why I don't go to the rooms. You can't do nothing about that, but oh well.

Also, I suggested this before but get the DJs to create more of a discussion, they just go 'Oh my mic is working now, -reads requests-, next song is blabla' It's really boring.

For the last time, we didn't just attack him because it was him, it was because he was on air, and he did everything we had mentioned BEFORE his slot - we weren't purposely aiming to target him, he was just unlucky to be on air..

wen i get credz i would mind donating alot to habbox but then as soon t=as they'll give em away with loads of listeners, they'll drop like god knows

It's not about the competitions. I think there are some nice ideas for them, it's about the on air content and presentation, which sometimes can be good, yet sometimes very poor. I'm sure though if DJs are given some analytical feedback it will let them improve further :).
