I think that Rooney has broken his metatarsal which if he has means he will be out for 6 weeks and Englands first WC game is around 6 weeks today.

Well, I hope he doesn't end up like Beckham in the '02 WC. Eriksson took him unfit, and he just wasn't any good, apart from scoring the penalty against Argentina.

england are not a 1 man squad jeez, players get injured thats the game if he gets injured and cant play then the otha players shuld show they can cope with the loss of rooney

He more of an asset to the club then you would think.

ye an asset but the fact is injurys happen no way u can stop it, england have more than capable players so they can try and replace him or adapt

Apparantly he has Fractured his 4th Metatarsal and will be out till the Eve of the World Cup.. thats what i heard.
