Anything could be possible in 20 years time.

I doubt that in 20 years time every hosting company in existance will use exactly the same operating system, a virus cannot have such malicious effects on every operating system, so i doubt in even 20 years time it will happen :p

Say half the hackers in the world joined together and targeted the internet.
Maybe thats why no one has crashed the internet yet, as that would mean they wouldn't be able to go on the internet again.

I think that in 20 years time loads and loads of stupid fool hackers will join and the internet will be crashed for 2 years.

Crackers can do much more possible things than most people think.

Ok then.
I will edit what I said.

Loads of people will try and DOS all internet service providers in their region, causing the well not causing the actual internet to crash but causing the internet in everyones area to be down til they fix it.

Your theory is stupid. As only say 40% of the Internet Population are "hackers", so if they are stopping ISP's from providing a service they will lose THEIR internet.
