Official fansites and Unofficial Fansites

tom, if you couldn't careless then ignore him. I dont think your in the wrong considering as I voted for HabboHarmony. HabboHarmony has a quite big following and personally from my point of view I think it's the best fansite out at the moment, it's entertaining ect.
At the end of the day whatever fansite gets the golden tier there will always be arguments and disagreements between other fansites considering I think its jealousy.

To be fair Habboharmony shoulnt be offical if you look in webdesign for the 3rd time yes the third time the have stolen Celeb's panel and said its there own, So Celeb exploited it to proove it, Am i correct?
In all fairness Habbox wont be offical it may be the most popular but it does break alot of rules, I also am with the rest of you HabboHut isnt popular at all maybe a few years back it was but they may aswell delete it, Its terreble nowdays.

I like HabboHarmony, but i dont agree it should be gold tier.

I dislike clubhabbo because of the idiots you get on the forum, but credit where its due! it is a very successful and entertaining fansite

HabboHarmony hasn't been open long, and im quite sure its recent success owes allot to some habbo staff using it whereas sites like clubhabbo built up a thriving radio and community over years of hard work – and it isn't rewarded?

alot of you say 'Habbox.com' should be official, yes I totally agree but so many things happen on the site which breaks the terms and conditions to become a official fansite.
HabboHarmony has get an adventage compeard to all the other fansites considering as Akela! is joint owner along with Universe and redtiz loves Universe off which is highly a disadventage to other fansites.
But at the end of the day congratulations to the 2 fansites which received gold status but I hope the status get changed like every month so it's more like an acheivement to fansites then a badge.

Infact, I think it was updated just recently. I personally don't see the point in making Gold Tier and Silver Tier it just spilts fansites up even more. Firstly you need to get on official, now they split up offical fansites who worked just as hard to get there and make only 2 of them get more recongized.

Personally, I think that staff should NOT be allowed to own a fansite as it will obviously spark suspicion of bias within the hotel. (I do personally believe that if a staff member is part of a fansite, then they will get a sort of special treatment - as in more regular alerts etc.).

What annoys me about this is, because you have a member of staff on your site other Official fansites; eg. Mine, are looked down on and not considered as important. I think this because (as I'm sure you know Tom), my site's fansite URL and name was not updated - even though we requested our change before you (I'm SURE of this)...then when staff finally answer our email(s) (like after months?) they tell us we CAN'T change our information as we have been removed as the fansite rules have changed that week (or something stupid like that) regarding site changes... But wait a minute...if they had looked after the fansites properly and updated their information in order then there would have been no problem, as my Fansite would have already been updated on the official list along with yours I'm sure. But sadly, no, they decided to change another once first.

I don't blame you Tom for this issue and don't think it's your fault. I just think the fact staff are getting too involved with fansites (by owning them...) is a part of the problem.

Fansites are no longer all about being 'Fans' of Habbo hotel, it's about being official and following rules. Habbox likes to differ therefore it probably explains it's originality and popularity :P
