'A talk' usually consists of things like,
"How long have you known you was gay?"
"have you got a boyfriend"
"How do you actually KNOW you are gay?"
"You have to be careful and use protection... blahblahalbha aids this aids that blahblahblah"
It will be awkward for a couple of days but after that it's fine :) My mums knew since I was about 14 I'm 16 now and she always is throwing homophobic language at me :(((((((((( for a jk obv but lol!
Good luck :)
xx
Lmao yeah. It'll include all of that xD
All I can say is, be who you want to be. Don't worry about your mum. :)
Good luck xo
better out than in to be honest, nothing to be ashamed of, if they can't accept you then their loss. :)
What a pointless and patronising talk :P Do they really need to know all that stuff? If you were straight, would they give the same sort of speech? It's allcommon sense/knowledge anyway and sorta like twisting a knife in an uncomfortable flesh wound if anything... "OH good, you're gay! Have you a got boyfriend, hmmm?" The fact she said she wants to "talk" about it makes it seem more like a drug addiction than a way of life :/
Lol yeah I suppose so, but then again I suppose it's good to talk to know what's going on etc etc and to show that you are okay with it and everything blahblah. S'all good though if the parents okayz with it. One of my mums mates is a lesbian and she told her mum and her mum said, "You're effing disgusting, I never want to see you again!" so yeah it can be pretty bad haha! Luckily my 'rents aint like that. ;)
