If you're still unsure of what to get, I would go to a shop near you selling different mp3's and iPods and ask to see them working etc. If they would show you or not I do not know, but I suppose it's worth a try :P

I would vote iPod, becuase iPod can hold a lot more songs than a normal MP3 player, I am reffering to mine, which can hold like 30 songs, tops! I am getting an iPod when I get enough money saved up!

Well, yours is just bad. There are mp3 players that hold more and cost less than I pods.

30 songs? That's pretty bad. My friends mp3 player can hold 5,000 I'm pretty sure, will ask.

I have a ipod shuffle and i cant get into the Itunes music store to download any songs and ive tried napster but apple and napster dont work together so i cant download tunes!!! I only have ones off c-d

HAH! iPods have more storage then mp3 players! Thats really funny! Creative makes mp3 players which can hold more then 30k songs my mp3 player atm hold 18k

Edit: Stargazing 6gb? My current mp3 player is 30gb same size same color
