That's what I thought at first, but in a years time when you get bored of all the cliched anime, you'll start to love manga.

I cant find where Dgrayman anime branches from manga. The anime ending was good but the manga is ongoing and I really cba reading the manga from the start.
Someone find me it for <3
I told you! Same thing happened to me, they blatently just don't have NHK volume one.
I prefer it to anime in most cases. I like that you can just pick up and start where you left off because I don't like stopping and starting with anime.
I'm starting to prefer it to anime now as well. Before if someone asked me the question "anime or manga?" I'd say anime straight away but now I see both have their merits. You get things out of manga you just can't get from watching anime. You're able to follow the story at your own pace, and your imagination works a treat. You can give the characters their own voices, and give the panels movement through your imagination, among other things. You have the power to read what you want to read and see what you want to see. Everyones experience from reading a manga is difference, but with anime and programmes in general, you're told everything and don't get that freedom. A good anime may be amazing, but there really is nothing better than a good book. While manga's are often better though, I have to agree that some work better as an anime. Gintama for example. Gag's and humour just seem to work better when you're watching it, not when you're reading it. :P
I read Hotel today. Aparrently it's the best oneshot every made, I disagree, it's the second best. One hell of a good read though. :8
You guys should just forget about buying volume one and read it online, then buy the other volumes. That's what I was going to do until I managed to find it.
Been reading the D.grayman manga, got through 10 chapters of it, going to take my time because I dont want to rush.
Whatever happened to Soul Eater?
It's totally worth reading Claymore if you've seen the anime. The events after the battle of the north are amazing.
I read it for like 10 chapters and it was boring, rly cba the ending of the anime pissed me off when I rewatched it.
If the ending of the anime pissed you off then isn't that all the more reason to read the manga? I'll have you know Claymore is anything but boring! Must... vent... anger... Anymore remarks like that and I'll send the boys 'round.
Up to chapter 55 of 20th Century Boys now. Holy. ****. I'm totally hooked. I haven't watched any anime in a while now, this is just too damn good to stop reading. I'm glad this series is so long, it won't be over fast even if I read it non-stop.
No books 1-7 Chris? :(
