Anne Frank wrote a diary that explicitly talked about nazi crimes and it was selling thousands shortly after it was published. That's good enough.

And? everybody knew about what the Nazis did after the end of the war anyway, it was all heavily documented...

How would Anne know? Furthermore Mengele wasn't the only one, and yes it kind of does look like Anne.

So you think some random girl (who is no threat to the already defeated nazi party) would fake her death and let her father and all the rest of her surviving family mourn her on the off chance that some Nazi in hiding was stupid enough to come after her, and not one of the many, many people that were released from concentration camps, because she wrote a diary which had nothing to do with concentration camps (as it was wrote UP UNTIL her arrest, not during).

Really? Are you kidding me? I was bringing the family is hope bit because it served as a reason for her to keep living, unlike Goslar saying she was just giving up. And the whole point of Anne living a new life was in part because with the Organization dad created around people would find her.

There weren't Nazi officers strolling the streets attempting to massacre anyone who looked a bit Jewish after the war

You say her family was someone she loved and it was a reason for her to keep going so why on earth would she want to start a new life without them? Doesn't make sense.
