yes I was thinking that aswell... and remember most of the time people making the changes are English so stop blaming people coming into the country because most of them actually contribute to the community more than english people do. Well I think there should be a 100% seperation of church and state, so I dont think there should be a christmas dinner or any religious dinner at all in schools. So maybe Winterval isnt such a bad thing for schools to embrace.

Christmas isn't so much about religion as it was 10 years ago.
In, for example primarily Muslim countries, they have big Eid celebrations.
Christmas is as much tradition as anything else.
