Right...
I do to an all boys school and the following implements are placed on hair:
- Hair cannot exceed past the collar
- Hair cannot be any shorter than a number '4', in hairdressing terms
This was annoyin' when I loved to let my hair grow- but I can see why it's done.
People would just let their hair grow and grow.
And on the other end of the scale, some would shave their heads and not have any hair at all.
I think without the rules, the scope of bullying would be widened.
hmmm well rules do seem to be emense in single sex schools and religious schools
Going back to chris' earlier post, my brother had to pay for an amulance, they gave him the choice between it or he could get a taxi. It was also serious he was having a lump cut out of his face.
OMG what a load of ****. I only read the first post but your school has no right to say what length your hair can be, they don't for girls do they ? what if you had cancer or some other disease and all your hair fell out would they send you home then?
If you are doing something where your hair might be a danger to yourself they can make you put it up in a bobble or something but telling you to cut it is out of order.
I have no intention of getting short hair until I'm like 30. Schools aren't allowd to ban hairstyles really unless they're like BIG.
hmmm,
protest&refuse&refuse some more.
they wouldn't let me go the toilet in lesson so I walked out,
and said "do you want **** on the floor?"
they replied "no".
so i just went about my buisness and they said nothing.
