I can't comment on that as I didn't buy the domain, but I know the domain as been around for a while.

As the area of Habbo fansites can be targeted with ease as you have Hotels which you can visit and build an aimed audience. Where as with teen websites it's a lot harder, much like social networking. To get a good audience for a teen site costs and lot of money and more often than not some celebrity backing. TeenSpot regularly have celebs interviewed and special features involving music bands and so on.
