I wouldn't say they are 'corrupt' since they don't actually have any powers or anything like that to abuse. I agree with you though, the new ones are mostly suck-ups and are just in for the fame and the badge.

Ye i think X's are pointless tbh. Hobbas where better but they were acctually on the verge of being corrupt as they had powers. They should bring back Hobbas but have them so they are checked out more a bit like the MODs so they know who they are hireing

Hobbas were checked out like MODs. They had to sign a contract, provide ID among tons of other things that I don't know about...

They didn't just stick a badge on any old person that signed up to be a Hobba :)

Exactly, you had to have security checks and such.

I heard that in the US they weren't check and many 14 year olds got to be a Hobba and they stole some never before released furni from these rooms for a comp that Becs trusted them with. But i still think Hobbas are better and they did more good then X's have ever done

Hobbas wern't 'Hobbas' in the US. In the US they didn't have the same laws in the UK and opened applications to over 14. Most people that entered got the badge meaning they had about 700 Silver Hobbas, with a good majority abusing the little powers they had.

Hobbas couldn't steal furniture considering they don't have 'Pickup' rights. The US Hobba system was quickly scrapped, leaving only a few remaining or none at all. I can't remember exactly :)

That's mainly because the X's don't have any powers so there isn't much they can do. There are a lot X's in it just for the popularity, fame and the badge but there are also a lot of friendly, helpful X's who do actually do their job. :)

Hobbas had a completely different Job. They were treated as volunteer staff. X's are treated as Volunteers Helpers. Hobbas had to do many things and were seen more noticably. As for X's, unless you are in the Welcome Lounge or Public Rooms often, then you won't see the good that we do ;)

Agreed - Later on at night when there's less people on the hotel I often go to the Welcome Lounge and I always see the X's helping out.
