This is what annoys me the most, you can get an african family and let them have a baby in any country you want but the baby is still going to be an african...

he is 100% american. he's born in america, thus he is an american citizen, as required by law in order to be president.

and the fact that hes black has been rarely brought up. i took a journalism class last semester, i had to pay attention to the news nonstop, and i can say it was rarely brought up in the media. the majority of times people have brought it up in general is when they THINK everyone is talking about it :/

There's never been an indigenous american president to my knowledge.

Yes exactly, I really do feel sorry for all of them proud Americans, when I went to Florida even the taxi driver agreed with everything me and my family said, she also said that he will be assasinated if he becomes the president which now he has. I'm fed up of seeing a load of raving black people on the tv holding posters that always have "black president" written on them. Did you know that 99% of America's toughest high school is black? (It's on sky anytime TV so watch it if you want) They are always causing trouble in the streets with guns, rap and crime. America really could of done without black people. Who would of thought that the son of a Kenyan farmer would become the American president, it just showed all the black people in Kenya jumping around and dancing and I said to my mum "could you imagine one of them being the president of America, because one is". Loads of people where chanting "death to obama", well thats what the news reporter just sad anyway.

Erm, no. He's african american, not african. Yes that is true in effect, but he was born in america, has grown up in america, is classed as an american.

sorry, but your skin doesn't effect your nationality. he's a registered citizen of the USA, born and raised and therefore entitled to stand for the position just like everyone else. **** off if you think different, the fact that you'll even say such a thing is the reason why he deserves to be there. it's about time equality got more widespread and hopefully he'll help with that.
