Sometimes soap irritates skin.
Theres some thing called Nivea Purifying Toner i believe, i use it every night and every morning its doesnt get rid of spots 100% but it makes your skin look so much better ;D

I know greasy foods and chocolate can make spots worse, so cut down on them if you eat them.
Also, I find that face wash works better than spot creams for me :)
