Which class are you?

I don't like seeing myself as in a group, I admit people tease me for being better off than them. :P

Middle class -

Not mega rich, but never money - troubled.

I think I'm middle class :)

Rosie wins again - I doubt any of the people who've said upper class truly are, that's like either lords and dukes etc or at least knighted corporate giants. I don't know who's seen Frasier ever but if you think how he lives (fancy penthouse apartment, designer everything, posh food and wine) he is in UK terms middle class still, despite his wealth and position as a high-rate psychiatrist. Fictional character yes but the point stands.

My guess would be that most people here are C1-E with perhaps a few ** (which I believe to be about the level of doctors and other such highly qualified peoples) but I could be wrong there.

Yeh people on here think they are Upper-Class when they still live in a 3 bedroom council house.

I don't think that's true. I've already said earlier in this thread that people think they're upper class because they have lots of money and a nice house. That isn't being upper class, upper class is when you're like aristocracy.

Following Rosie's (&market research) scale then I'd be in the A-C1 range with my parents work and such; so I'll say middle class as that's what A-C1 pretty much is.

Middle class. Mother is a forensic scientist with the qualifications to be a crime scene investigator. Father is a clinical pathologist. Both came from working class backgrounds, we live in a decent house.

I remember my English teacher showing me that years ago.

My Mum is C1, mum's bf is D. Dad is C2, his gf is A. I suppose it goes on household though. If we're going by that I'm lower middle I take it.
