I totally understand how you would think it's my opinion and not fact, but that honestly isn't the case here. We're comparing old technology to new technology, something with less features to more features. Blackberries compare poorly to a G1, just like a G1 compares poorly to a Nexus One.
HotelUser, please just shut up. No-one asked for an opinion from you, or anyone for that matter. He was just asking what he could get for his price range.

Oh and also, although I've never used a blackberry my girlfriend has one and I have a HTC Hero (Android) and I would say the blackberry os is alot better as Android is really pretty bad.

Your individual needs are irrelevant when comparing features of something?
If it works for you use it, but don't tell me it fairly compares to Android just because you like it, because it most certainly doesn't. I can't open and download from a list of 1,000s of free apps, I can't go in a full HTML multi-touch web browser, I can't take high quality pictures.
