Server went down by itself :S weird...
Only one house was destroyed.
We had to go on a tree rampage cutting down the path of the fire... it only missed the rest of the village by about 5 metres...
No, it's my outside house that I built so I could work on a small self-sutained ranch which I could link up to the main cities when we got minecarts. It's close to the base of the lighthouse.

I don't know if you're still looking for a proper host, but my gmod server host is now providing Minecraft servers at 7.28 for twelve slots per month. I'm about to try the server out to see how good it is.

Ok so like apparently the map is 8 times the size of the Earth so I'm not likely to be able to get the southwesternmost point any time this decade, but today when I got on I thought it would be fun to try it (I only found out the true size of the server world about half hour ago) but yeah apparently I managed to get 6km west and 15km south of the village, far enough to warrant a warp being made for the spot I ended up at :P few points of interest on the way where I was being a tourist and took pics:
