There are too many Radio Panel's around now, I doubt you'll make much from it.

Have a jingles page, were you can download the websites jingles.Maybe a script on the profile page that would have like

So when the DJ logs into the panel there is a button at the top that will say, "I'm On-Air" you click it and it updates the profile.
Adapting james's idea on the profile it says im onair with a link tro radio ??? and maby THE radio on the panel??
The biggest problem I see is that there are a few radio panels out there with security holes, and the only one which appears to be secure you have to pay for.
I have nothing against paying for a radio panel, in fact I paid for one on Sunday and I still have no software or response from the company.

Ok. Guys we take security as a HUGE issue obviously.
What im thinking is... Because the free version wont be a full massive script like vbulletin...
To make it safer we would need to encrypt it. However we have promised you an open source script, meaing you can view the code.....
Please post to say wether you'd prefer for your free version either:
- Encrypted and safer
OR
- Unencrypted and a bit unstable
What im saying is, theres extremely good hackers. They MAY find a way round it. So by having i encrpyted they can't look at the code and find ANY weaknesses.

It will have a facility to make a SQL backup. Howver in order for it to be scheduled you would have to install it as a cron job. We can do this via PHP if you are running cPanel, in order to do so, you would have to enter in your cPanel details into the script. Which some people may feel is insecure. Thea facility will be there, but you will have the set it up manually, guides will be provided on how to do so.
