This is a load of ********, they didn't prophesize ANYTHING. They simply... stopped the calender at a certain date. Does it mean something happens then? No. We don't make calenders for our phones dating up to the year 2100 (or mine doesnt at least), does that mean the world will end then? According to my phone, it would appear so, and according to a mayan calender, it would appear its finishing 2012.

I thought it was the date when planetx or whatever is meant to pass but its been proven that planetx doesn't exist
Well, nothing big will happen except the earth's poles might flip, causing untold destruction to the environment.
There isn't any major fault lines or tectonic plates in England, so alls well for us.
I've heard most things that they have predicted have come true. So why would they be wrong this time?
Believe it when I see it.
They said i think it was September last year that the world was gunna end by that experiment. But it never happened :]
So i doubt it.
At least we will get to host the Olympics.
