What makes me laugh the most is the whole "Oh moderators should use their common sense" take on things yet as soon as they're warned for something not in the rules which blatantly should be, they're accusing the moderator of being wrong. Although as it happens it's in the rules anyway but I don't think HxF can ever win now you're even being accused of sending condescending PMs lol.

Okay, this is just going round in circles now and is full people all saying the same thing, technically it's a complaint about one of our managers and should have been moved from the off but some replies have been very interesting.

If you don't want the Forum Manager, or any other member of the Forum Team to get pissed off with you then don't break the rules, it's simple really. If you had broken a minor rule which we thought you probably didn't know of, you would have been politely contacted regarding it, informing you it was against the rules and how you should avoid doing it again.

However, let's be honest and I'm pretty sure everybody who has replied to this thread agrees, spamming the calendar with events is not something that you could just think was acceptable, and if you did at some point think that it wasn't against the rules then I worry for you, I really do.

In my eyes you were extremely lucky that it was missed that you'd abused VIP features before, as now you'd be VIPless.
