What changes did the most recent maintenance make? Just stickies?
I've just gone crazy haha finding out it was back with @Jurv;
Its not fully back, did a quick check and it seems you can't turn off the bad word filter so some words will still be blocked by *'s. Other than that its better than trying to say a sentence in a stupid way because one word is blocked.
