Are the points on the people on the hotel view the amount of points people got in the competition?

I find it weird to think someone got like 400 votes...

Well 3 votes per person per day, so unlikely to be 400 unique votes. I'm surprised people only got 155-160 votes and made it in to the top 10. But everyone I asked was unable to vote :(.
