Not when it comes to changing the categories - not without duplicating furni anyway (which I don't know if you can do). It is easier this way, in the long term.

This might have already been brought up, but the I noticed the following Super Rares are missing:
- Amber Floor Rug (400c)
- Army Plasto Chair (450c)
These are *never* in the marketplace (also no averages) and Habbox was the only place with any value for them.
I suggest a new 'Arcane Rares' category, as they don't seem to fit into any of the current ones. The 'Parasol' listed in the new 'Antique Rares' (Classical Rares?) category would be more suited here, as it wasn't released until much later in 2008.
Could always have a scripted furni section for the likes of army plasto chair. (basically what he said above)
Scripted furniture wouldnt be such a bad idea; aloe vera, the blue + yellow pods would also have to be added into that too.
An update here guys regarding the categories... http://www.habboxforum.com/showthrea...49#post8277749
All help is appreciated in that thread if you can assist us.. the more suggestions the quicker it can be completed. Any suggestions that are within the guidelines I will +rep you for and find immediately and move them into the new categories.
Pretty stupid idea to change the categories to credit values. I've seen the source code for the rare values panel, it would take ten minutes to add a price filter.
Pricing categories only hinder those lookin manually for values. If you come across an item of furniture that you don't know the price of you don't want to be scrolling trough sections, you want to identify it's furni range and go from there. Some furni ranges hae vastly spread pricing too. Silly

Leaving furni categories didn't really make much sense when some would only have a few things in: this does make sense, to me and the other AGMs anyway. Most people aren't looking through categories, they're looking for exact prices. Or something in their price range - which this system makes more sense to.
The reason we've done it through renaming categories rather than a price filter is because it was my suggestion - I don't know anything about how it's set up so couldn't suggest alternatives like the price filter and didn't even know it was possible: wasn't suggested by anyone who does have access so they obviously think this way is best anyway.
Prices changing doesn't matter as they'll be done more quickly on the new system which has less furni on it TO update.
We're not losing information, we're utilising the wiki for all the other things like furni ranges, and hopefully we'll be able to integrate it in a bit better within v6 - but with the new site, definitely.
I remember back when Dan/Luke were there when I was a Head Rare Values Reporter, I remember it was mentioned about categorising by value, but this was when the amount of furniture was smaller.
I'll reply more perhaps when I'm home, but basing is on price I don't believe is the way forward. You aren't catering for everyone which I think you should do with it being a reform. Many might go on just for the price, but there are people who go on for furniture names, images and the like. I know I go on to find out names AND values and now it's going to be near impossible to do without searching 1 letter at a time.
It's not really hard to categorise them further, just look at the Wiki and look at the navboxes/categories on there we have, if you have a few items similar that could fit in the same category - put them together? Think of a name and I think it'd look better than sorting by price.
