I'm glad Umaga's coming back
I don't understand the kozlov push tbh he's rubbish.

Well, he hasn't had the chance to show what he can do in the ring as of yet, but I love his character. His facial expressions and his callous glare are awesome.
Kozlov, is the first wrestler since MVP I have seen, who instantly strikes you with his character and sheer athleticism. MVP was a very talented wrestler when he debuted, still one of my favorites today. Kozlov IS a big man. He does not need to be put over as a big man like Big Show, Kane.. when you watch him wrestling.. I dont know about you, but I imagine if you were near him, you would be intimidated. The way he handles himself and his opponent in the ring... or he is just a terrible stiff worker, but I doubt that.
Sorry about the rant haha^
Smackdown is out a month today I think, or 29 days or something.
Anyone see that Iron Sheik Ring Roast thing? Scott Hall went off on a tangent about a joke some wise-ass comedian made towards some guy, the joke featured a harsh comment about Owen Hart.
I am sorry if I has mis-understood this, but Scott Hall was a bit tipsy, heard the joke and then punched the "comedian" and then ripped him infront of everyone...
also, are Sheik and Hall on good terms, I have no reason to see why they are not. Ivan Koloff (I think) got up after Hall was dismissed and made point that the joke was unfair and not at all nice, but they should move on from the scene that just occurred and enjoy the evening.
I saw the video of the comedy roast and they shook hands.
I agree about Kozlov, Felony. His expressions put his demeanor over a helluva lot.
Who did, Hall and Sheik or Hall and the comedian? I think I remember seeing Hall and Sheik shaking hands..
I think people are too harsh with Hall. People always rip him for being a bit of an alcoholic, he has his problems. People are always sympathetic for Jeff Hardy, he has had problems. Oh well! :P
Sheik and Hall. The guy deserved the brunt of Scott Hall's drunken temper for the joke he made.
I would of loved for Bret to be there, as much as I sadly think he is a bit of a bitter old man, it would of been great to see this comedian get choked out.
He is a bitter old man. And not the innocent one most think him out to be when they bring up the screwjob.
I'd rather have seen Hall Razor's Edge the comedian through the lectern.
That would be wicked.
I hate the way people are still bitter about the MSJ. It was over ten years ago, get on with it?
I have not bothered to spend enough time reading up, but from what I understand, Bret was champ, he was leaving for WCW, Vince knew this and Bret was not willing to drop the title? It was mainly a business decision.. I presume I have got the story wrong and there was more of an ulterior motive for it.. but all I know is, Bret is Bitter.
Bret was World Champion and sold out to WCW - they offered him more money than Vince was prepared to. He didn't want to drop the belt in Canada, but Vince wanted him to lose it at the Survivor Series event and agreed with Bret not to. People jump the gun and think that Vince is some evil guy for screwing him legitimately, but Bret figuratively (and literally) spat in the face of Vince, and the fans who had supported him throughout his WWF career. He was the top dog in the WWF at the time, was being paid a lot. He disgraced the WWF by selling out, and he deserved all he got. As Vince said at the press conference, Bret screwed Bret.
Exactly. Do you think Owen would of eventually jumped ship?
Excuse the double post, my edit will not save.
To add to my previous post, if the MSJ did not happen, do you think Bret would still be with WWE, and would Owen?
I have really amature views, so mine would be Bret would be in a early-08 Flair position of getting ready to bow down.. early maybe? And maybe owen in TNA in an Fully Metal Mayhem Steel Chair-on-a-electric-rope-on-a-pole Steel Asylum on the Mountain Ladder match!
I dont know.. Its just an unfair tragedy which changed wrestling... and some fat-ass comedian thinks he has the right to laugh at it..
I think Owen would have jumped ship because he just wanted enough money so that he could retire early and be with his family. As for Bret, I don't know how long he'd have gone if he didn't jump to WCW. I mean, Goldberg ended Bret's career... whose to say he wouldn't have given him a savat kick in 2003 WWE? Haha.
Lol!
I was thinking earlier, where would all these dead wrestlers be.. would Eddie be in TNA with Hector, or over in mexico? Guess we will never know.
Eddie would've been in the main event picture in the WWE, I'd say. It's such a shame his past haunted him in the prime of his career.
He was in the main event
Yeah, eddie would have held many many word titles upto now if he didn't pass away.
Dam missed it this morning at 11.
Shawn against Chris Jericho :D
For their WrestleMania, TNA's Bound For Glory really is sucking.
TNA really does confuse me, and its not like im thick, I like to think of myself as a smart wrestling fan (i lold). But c'mon.. a bimbo match?
I imagine Jarrett's match was quite emotional?
WWE news.. Knoxville "has issued a challenge" to Khali for Raw.. "sky+ raw!"
Couldn't care less about Jarrett's return to be honest, and it didn't seem all that big of a deal on the show.
And yeah, way to degrade their women by calling them bimboes.
TNA is really going downhill lol. They're just grabbing the WWE's offcasts :S
That's what they've done since '02.
If I'm right they currently have:
dudleys, rhyno, christian, booker T, that arab (not sure of his name) kurt angle, foley.
On their CURRENT roster, they have:
Sheik Abdul Bashir A.K.A. Daivari
BG James A.K.A. Road Dogg
Booker T
Christian Cage A.K.A. Christian
Christy Hemme
Earl Hebner
Jacqueline
Jeff Jarrett
Jim Cornette
Kip James A.K.A. Billy Gunn
Matt Morgan
Mick Foley
Rhino
Scott Steiner
Sharmell
Team 3D
All former employees of WWE. And that's not counting the various talent on their roster who have had developmental deals in the past with WWe. It's also not counting WWE stars who went to TNA but are no longer there, such as Ron Killings (who originated in WWE as K-Kwik, returned as R-Truth), Black Reign (Goldust), Jeff Hardy, etc, etc.
Also, is it fair to say that Dustin Rhodes may be back on his way to the WWE? Im sure he could have another IC Title run?
It just goes to show that all these wrestlers who left WWE for TNA, now want back.. shows the grass is not always greener.
Rhodes has had so many runs with WWE it's hard to tell. I believe he is signing a Legends contract (it's beyond me why) shortly, and he's probably going to be at Cyber Sunday on-camera in some respect, regardless of the poll.
Big Show vs Taker rematch at Cyber Sunday. Stipulations announced on Smackdown this week. It will most likely be fans choose the match.
The choices would be brilliant if it was like Casket, buried alive etc. Probly end up benefiting the Big show though if Vickie sets the choices though.
All matches have the poll gimmick attached. The three stipulations will be announced on SmackDown and the voting will begin for that match.
I hope its buried alive match. DO you think they'll need an extra large coffin for big show?
Lol the voting is fixed anyway. I can't see the honky tonk man doing lots with that finger of his.
I wish they would have an inferno match.. but its not PG... but it would fit in with WWE SVR09. lol.
It will be lame stips. Cage. Coffin and MMA are my pics.
The Steel Cage match is SO overused in the WWE.
Yeah, I think so too. I prefer HIAC tbh. Just saw Cena on a poster for Survivor Series.

The thing is, they used to be GREAT when they had "over the top" finishes, i dont mean crazy finishes (although they can be good), but over the cage finishes made them so more exciting.. going through the door is lame.
Knowing "the general public" *cough, WWE bookers*. It will be MMA to fit in with the storyline.
Or a boxing match.
On the subject of finishers, I hate the way that they can pin someone 1,2,3 with it? Surely being thrown off the top turn buckle would hurt more than a little DDT lmao.
Sadly, I feel I have to go down this route...
Its scripted. Moves are performed with tricks to make it look like there is more impact.
Sorry :<
Yeah I know it's scripted but it's stupid if you ask me lol. The Stone Cold Stunner was a good finisher, that involves taking someones head and ramming it off your shoulder at high impact :P
