Well we all need to be loved so a Relationship is actually useful.
I mean it can turn out ugly sometimes but at other times it just maked you happy too.

If she doesn't want to lsoe a friend over you, its basically like saying she likes her friend more than you, so I'd just walk away from her

No, I mean this isn't a junior high relationship where we are just dating to walk around together.. and be seen together.

We're both focusing on our future, unlike junior/high school relationships. I know mid-twenties who have short meaningless relationships, I know mid-thirties who have short meaningless relationships, I know mid-50s who do too.

But we're both to a point in our life where those "meaningless, pointless" relationships are that.
