Saurav you're forgetting comps is getting better "next month" - or so Sam told me when I said events and comps ought to be merged so they actually do something in September
I like this compromise, not forcing them to join but still reminding them that the option is there.
As silicone suggested below, we are gonna move the t+c into a stickied thread. We are moving into smaller competitions with simple ideas behind them. If you don't like the stories involved, that's fine but I rather like them. While CH competitions are good, we don't want to be a carbon copy. As for the font colours, we tend to go for the colours that are readable on the default forum but I can read that perfectly fine so I haven't got a problem with that either.
Even though you and Jake have critisized the management for not taking decisive action and leaving things til 'next month', I think in this situation it's fine. Competitions have ended for this month and so it's more logicial to leave any changes until the following 'calendar' of comps.
Damn you caught us.
ly2. We are moving towards smaller competitions but I think it's unwise to expect instanteous results. These things take time to perfect.
That's what I don't understand. Why do they need to wait till next month to create better competitions? :S :S :S
Oh my, the entries are public too?? They need to do it so the user has to PM them. Especially for creative stories one.
How have the department lasted so long with such poor performance?
Hence the forum is going downhill. They take everything so damn seriously. They need to understand that they finally have competition. Before Habbox dominated the fansites. Now CHF seems to have more active members. I can understand that there is a limit to how much Donor / VIP they can give out for free, but rep .. come on.Quote:

you post a comp sit back and wait a few days for it to finnsh
doesnt seem like hard work to me and i doubt you need as many staff as you have
I just came up with an awesome idea and it would fix some problems with the rep system, although it would be an un-automatic process. I present to you "Reputation prestiging"!.
The idea is that when you get to 1000 rep or whatever, you post in a thread and you ask to be 'prestiged' your rep is reset and then you get a special power which only VIPs would normally have e.g. see who repped you, then you could have varying levels of Prestige for REP, that way the older members wouldn't have quite so insane reputation powers (If they prestiged), when you reach the highest rep prestige then you could have special 'REP VIP' or something.
