I was being hypothetical, in relation to R+R threads dave. I'm not even talking about general forum use as I don't think it's necessary and something that could actually spark arguments - WHY DIDN'T YOU REPLY TO MY THREAD, WHY WERE YOU LOOKING AT MY THREAD (both of which I've had because I was looking at a thread at the time, let alone having a fully comprehensive history). Do you actually have a valid use of this or is it just because it's there?

the general interest in knowing who has read a thread i've posted. intent to complain or moan at others wasn't in my hand when i suggested this feature and still isn't.

I was just saying it could be possible for someone to use this feature with malicious intent, even if most of us wouldn't.

ok, lets solve this. make it just a vip function. there isnt that many vips, compared to donators etc correct?

it's a nice idea but i'd prefer it if only the original posters could see it. it looks messy on every single thread.
