Yay..
According to WWE.com, Benoit's injured aswell now.
That Means Like Taker He Will Lose His Title, So MVP Is New US Champion
I cant wait untill they give benoit main event status again tbh. Shame they wont untill his mic skills are up to their standards.
Final card for tonight:
WWE Championship
-John Cena (c) vs. The Great Khali.
World Heavyweight Championship Match
- Edge (c) vs. Batista.
ECW Championship - 3 on 1 Handicap Match
- Vince McMahon (c), Shane McMahon & Umaga vs. Bobby Lashley.
WWE United States Championship - 2 out of 3 Falls Match
- Chris Benoit (c) vs. MVP.
World Tag Team Championship
- The Hardys (c) vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch.
- Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton.
- Ric Flair vs. Carlito.
- CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke.
I think theyre puttin cena against stupid ppl like umaga few months ago and kali now so if he beats them fans will like him again but I cant see that happening... just about everyone hates him holdin the gold now surely.
Cena is underrated in the ring. He is no wrestling God, but he does have some talent. He's also great on the mic'. He will definitely defeat Khali though, although I can't see him pinning him or making him submit. Probably a dusty DQ finish.
But jesus, I know that it's a good move to put Khali over as this BA giant, but this is going to be the worst match in a long while. Lots of stalling most likely.
I can see a quick roll up like he did on umaga after he couldnt lift him for an fu.
I reckon Khali dominates, Cena gets him up for the FU, Khali gets out and Cena intentionally gets himself DQ'd from frustration and retains.
Pickz:
Cena, Vince and co., MVP, CM Punk, Edge, HBK, Flair, Hardyz
Judgment Day 2007 Results:
How the hell? Cena got the submission victory over Khali, and the match lasted 8 minutes. An 8 minute main event. Great.
- Ric Flair def. Carlito
- Lashley def. Umaga and Vince and Shane McMahon (in under 2 mins!)
- CM Punk def. Elijah Burke (Burke should have won to continue the feud)
- Randy Orton def. Shawn Michaels (referee stopped the match)
- The Hardy Boyz def. Lance Cade and Trevor Murcoch
- Edge def. Batista
- M.V.P. def. Chris Benoit (fans chant "boring" - idiots know nothing)
- John Cena def. The Great Khali
So, Khali can beat Kane & 'Taker easily, but he taps to Cena?
What a joke.
That sucks... wwe site said ppl liked that match the most too.. maybe it did get everyone to like cena lol. anyone watch it on box office?
oh my god.

Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz was credited, or blamed, depending on your point of view, for booking Shawn Michaels to pin World Heavyweight champion Edge on his last night on Raw. Gewirtz's explanation was that guy leaving the territory, or brand in this case, has to job on the way out.
Triple H was the power behind the move because when it was questioned, he supported it, which made it close to a done deal. There is a belief backstage that Triple H doesn't want Edge to succeed, noting that he tried to block all previous plans of him to moving to SmackDown and winning the title until Mr. Kennedy went down with an injury, and at this point he couldn't reasonably block it anymore. There was vocal opposition to Edge being pinned, saying that it makes the SmackDown title and champion look secondary. Triple H's argument was that HBK is the biggest tenured star on the brand, and he had just put over Khali, and he needs a big win because he'll be wrestling Cena on PPV again within the next few shows. On the other hand, Michaels suggested doing a non-finish, since from his perspective, the key point of the match was for him to be beat down by Randy Orton to promote their match for tonight at Judgment Day. Michaels said he didn't want to bury the SmackDown title but was told it was Vince McMahon's decision and he wasn't changing it.
As you might imagine, Edge wasn't pleased with the booking decision and he wasn't hiding his dissatisfaction backstage that night. Edge is said to be happy to move over to Smackdown because internally it's considered less political, not to mention that he doesn't have to deal with a certain wrestler as much anymore.
Dave Meltzer is reporting today that Shawn Michaels has a blown out knee. HBK missed last nights house show and is going to try to gut it out tomorrow night at Judgment Day.
This injury is considered serious. This is absolutely terrible news for WWE as there have been a ton of top name injuries as of late.

WWE quietly released Beth Phoenix from her contract early last week. She was told that creative had nothing for her.
Behind the scenes, Stephanie McMahon, was never a fan of her. She felt as though that she didn't have the "WWE Diva look" due to her inherit bulkiness
In addition to WWE announcing the releases of Scotty 2 Hotty, Ariel and Nick Mitchell (Spirit Squad), PWInsider is reporting that WWE has also released developmental diva Angel Williams. Williams had been working under a WWE deal for Deep South Wrestling for years and was recently brought up to Ohio Valley Wrestling. She was slated to be brought up to the Smackdown roster numerous times as a replacement for Jillian Hall in JBL's Cabinet and as a manager for The Gymini. However, none of the plans worked out.
In Silver Vision's latest newsletter, they talked about some upcoming DVD releases WWE is planning on doing. Silver Vision is WWE's DVD distributor in the UK.
- The Mr. Perfect DVD set will be called "The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect" and it will be a two disc set. It will be released later this year.
DVD projects scheduled for release in early 2008 are as follows:
- A twenty disc Summerslam Anthology DVD set will be released.
- A two disc set on Batista will be released.
- Another Shawn Michaels DVD set is in the works.
- A Hell In The Cell DVD set is also scheduled to be released.
In other DVD-related news, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the scheduled three disc "Best Of The Rock" DVD set has been put on hiatus. WWE asked The Rock if he could promote the DVD set when it was to be released in June, but he refused. So well, they might not be releasing it after all.

WWE issued a statement on their website confirmed the release of former ECW World champion Sabu, something which has been almost expected to happen for weeks now. According to one source, the plan for tonight’s ECW TV was for Sabu to put over Kevin Thorn. Sabu balked at the idea, claiming he had a neck injury.
There are some in the locker room who believe that Sabu arrived late to the tapings on purpose this week, expecting to be sent home since he’s made rumblings that he is unhappy working for the company. This isn’t the first time he has arrived to events without his gear either, including a taping a few weeks back where he had to wear Daivari’s gear.
There are rumors that there was some sort of incident involving Sabu which took place over the weekend in Cincinnati, but those are just rumors for now and nothing has been confirmed about the alleged incident.
As previously reported, Sandman has been in the same boat as Sabu for a while as far as backstage heat goes. At this point, nobody within the company would be too surprised if he was let go from his contract sometime in the near future.

One of the most surprising names released, given the amount of television time devoted to her, was Ariel, real name Shelly Martinez. The release appears to be related to a backstage incident involving Martinez and Batista at last Tuesday's SmackDown tapings in Baltimore, Maryland.
The two of them got into an argument in front of a number of talents while watching the taping on a monitor backstage. Whatever the argument was about hasn't come out yet, but the feeling among those spoken to was that Martinez was defending herself against Batista. Seeing how she was on the wrong side of things politically, she ended up in the crosshairs of the company. When push came to shove, she became an enemy of Batista, who happens to be a friend of Triple H, husband of the woman who can now fire you.
Stephanie McMahon, who is now in charge of who gets fired and who gets hired, was never a fan of her. She also felt as though that she didn't have the "WWE Diva look." It also didn't help matters that she was a talent hand-picked by Paul Heyman for ECW when it was originally launched, and as we all know, Stephanie absolutely loathes Heyman. All those factors worked against her and she was shown the door.
With the departure of Ariel, Kevin Thorn has been told that he may be receiving a makeover/new look, which leads some to believe that the darker/vampire elements of his character will go away. There were a few people who felt that since ECW writer Dave Lagana isn't one to rock the boat, he's going to go with whatever WWE management wants, instead of trying to fight for the characters and making it work.
Make Him An Ex-NBA Player! ROFL What A Loada Turd.
no, it was a small indy fed called "Eastern championship wrestling".
It changed into Extreme championship wrestling.
The new ECW is owned by WWE, the old (100x better) ECW was a small indy fed gone big.
