Bible Codes

If any of you have Sky or another broadcasting system which you can watch Sky One, a few weeks ago, a programme was on called Bible Codes. This is related to the God? thread. The programme told us how in the ancient scriptures of the old Hebru bible, secret messges were formed to claim to predict the future. It worked by skipping letters; you would make the story into a grid and skip every 50 or so letters to find word(s) close together which is supposed to be the key to the worlds most shocking and horrific disasters. Some of these include: the assasination of JFK, the terrorist attacks of 11/11/01, world leaders being killed and princess Diana dieing.
The dude who wrote the book (not the Bible itself but the book Bible Codes) was hell bent on believing that all that this code said was true. But, some dis-believers wanted to prove him wrong, so, they took the book of Moby **** (an old story, very long) and did the same process as I said before. They found out that in it it said someone someone to die, and this wasn't in the Bible. His point was that if you have a text long enough its possible to find anything out. The believers say that in 2006 there will be a mass nuclear holocaust and it will lead to the extincsion of the world. Much has been found out from this, but much is still to be found... did any of you see this programme or read the book? I found it very interesting (you think im a nerd :))

World War 3 should happen I think before 2010 but I am not sure and if I was on of those people I will just make it so all the shops give free food to me muahahahahah.

bible code was discredited, due to its size it could be made to predict anything u wnated with complext enogh codes. tehy proved that when someone shpowed u could get prediction out of mobi ****.

anyway whats new someones always predicted the end of teh world, last 2 were 2003 and 2000 when ither a comit, holcorst, ww3, and judgemant day should have killed us.

Judgement Day happens once a months so I am safe, for now.

Ahh, the Bible codes can be proven: is it a coincidense that the words JFK to die run right across Dallis (the place he was murdered), in cars (he was in a car)?
