The limits change for me it was like 350 but jrh could only fir 260 in his room.

my theory is that the furni is seperated into certain catagories and only allowed a certain number of that catagory in a room, as when it said my room was full i could still add ducks but not pods :s.

It depends on how many sprites each furni has. For example: you can have more plants in a room than dragon lamps - because the dragon lamps have the "ON" sprites aswell. And about the holly walls... there is a wall limit, but it is not linked to the furni limit. If you reach the wall limit, you can't place stickies either. So... you need to place stickies before you place all of your posters. Big rooms are a tad strange...

(and occasionally quacking…) If your room is full and cannot hold any more furniture, you’ll get the following message “This room has the maximum amount of furniture”
