He has always stated that he came to Carlisle as a stepping stone to a bigger club. So its not came as a suprise really but still fairly annoyed he never just handed it in a week ago or something instead of the last day of the transfer window :rolleyes:
Apparently Hull have made a £250,000 offer but Carlisle want more for him but Hull won't go any higher.
Also, there are rumours going round that Preston are ready to offer £350,000 + a loanee
His contract runs out in the summer anyways so he could sign a pre-contact deal with another club at christmas for free, so I would happily sell hime before he can leave for free.
Just a bit of a bummer that we probably won't have time to get a relacement in if we sell him today...
