I'd like to know this aswell. I think you need a connection to the internet from the Wii somehow apparently.

ye thats what i think it is

i dont know how to get one though :S

you need to have a wireless conection u can connect to, Your not really missing much TBH lol only weather and the internet

Not sure if this will save you money, But if u get the WI-FI for the DS it works.
